Data about employees of the Ministry of Interior were collected in a file for each person. The collective file containing the personal material began with a table of contents, which listed all the documents in the file. Personal Files included the oath of office, the assessment of the officers’ work and behaviour conducted regularly, the biography, the service record with changes of rank and position, details of family members, positions in the party, qualifications and retirement or dismissal documents. In addition to remuneration documents, fragments of staff orders for state security officers were also deposited in the Archives as a separate series.
