The Archive of the Institute of National Remembrance invites to participate in the conference “Archives of the Security Apparatus of the People's Republic of Poland: Structures, Organization, Activities.”
 

The conference aims to address research gaps concerning various aspects of the organization and functioning of archives of former Secret Police. Topics of speeches will also include the management of these archives post-1989 and their current state of preservation.

In the last part researchers and archivists from abroad will attend, presenting on issues related to the functioning of security organ archives in other communist bloc countries.
