Delimitations of documents
The process of delimitation of the documents from the state institutions of the Slovak Republic – the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic, and the Slovak Information Service began in September 2003, whereas the second phase was carried out at the beginning of the year 2011. During the delimitations, the ÚPN took over funds of central and territorial State Security units, containing documents of the Intelligence service and Military Counterintelligence, as well as funds of the Border Patrol and the State Border Protection.
The issue of delimitation of the documents from the State institutions of the Slovak Republic (the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, and the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic) was reopened in 2021.
