International archival cooperation
The IPN Archives are engaged in four permanent international archival cooperation programs, organized in form of working groups:
Polish-Ukrainian Workig Group (with partners from the Security Service of Ukraine Archives),
Polish-Romanian Working Group (with partners from Romanian National Archives),
Polish-Lithuanian Working Group (with partners from the Genocide and Resistance Research Centre of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Special Archives),
Polish-Georgian Working Group (with partners from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Archives).
IPN is hosting the Network's webpage Soviet Bloc Security, containing the documents kept in the several Network members' collections, concerning the international meetings of the former Soviet Bloc security services.
The IPN Archives in the years 2012-2016 were with the Polish State Archives Head Office the coorganizers of the International Conference on Archives of the States of Eastern and Central Europe "Colloquia Jerzy Skowronek Dedicata". The proceedings of the conferences held in 2012 and 2013 were published by the State Archives Head Office.
The IPN Archives also provided substantial help for several Polish institutions abroad in digitization and conservation of their resources, i.a. for Józef Piłsudski Institute of America in New York (USA), Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum in London (UK), Polenmuseum in Rapperswil (Switzerland), Pontifical Institute of Ecclesiastical Studies in Rome (Italy), Polish National Alliance, Chicago (USA), Polish Falcons of America, Pittsburgh (USA).
